The Cathedral Cemetery - Inscription - Samuel Langham who died Feb. 11 1854 aged 46, also Sarah Langham, infant daughter of the above, died Sept 7 1844. And Henry Chaff, grandson of Samuel Langham, died July 26 1854, also James Henry Langham, eldest son of the above, died June 9 1866 aged 31. Mr. Langham was a well known resident. His wife for many years kept a shop in the city in the earlier period of its history. One of his sons was inspector of fisheries, and a daughter married a Mr. Chaff, whose sons are in business in Watt Street, Newcastle (1902)
