Details:
HERBERT ARTHUR WILSON, Tailor and Boot and Shoe Warehouseman, was born in 1863 in Hinton, New South Wales, where he received his education. On leaving school he learned the tailoring under Mr. T. Jones and afterwards managed a business for T. Relton. In 1884 he commenced as a tailor in the premises he still occupies, and two years later added thereto a boot and shoe department, where he now does a large business, employing on an average from twelve to fifteen hands. Mr. Wilson takes an active interest in all sporting matters and is a member of several jockey clubs and the Morpeth Regatta Club. He was married in Morpeth in 1883 and has three children living.
