William Nobel per Norfolk, assigned to the A.A. Company, charged with being in the street at the back of Lieut. Gibson s house at an improper hour...Robert Stuart, soldier of the 4th regiment being duly sworn says....Thursday night about eight oclock I heard a noise at the back of the kitchen. I went out and saw it was the prisoner. I asked him what he wanted and he would not reply. I took him to Lieut. Gibson who ordered him to the watch house. The noise at the back of the kitchen was caused by tapping on the wall with some hard substance. It was continued three or four times before I went out. It appears clearly that the soldier Stewart had certain transactions with the prisoner about some razors which led to the prisoner going for them....Discharged
