Details: The long expected Theresa has arrived at last, with 223 Immigrants, having been out from Plymouth since the 7th January. She touched at Madeira, where she left the 24th January, and shortly after, the typhus fever broke out and raged to such an extent that it created terror throughout the whole ship, and she was consequently obliged to put into Pernambuco ; she there went into Quarantine, and did not leave that place until the 1st May. She next put into the Cape, and left on the 5th July. Thirty-three persons died during the voyage; ten out of them from typhus fever, and the remainder from various other diseases ; amongst the number were a Mr. Bissett and a Miss Bell. The Theresa spoke the Sir Charles Forbes, from London to New Zealand, on the 26th July.
