Details: Sailed from London with convicts for NSW. The Captain had orders (unless he should receive contrary directions from the owner) to go afterwards to NZ and take in spars and then proceed to South America. The Brampton arrived in Port Jackson 23rd April 1823 and left 23rd July. Detained there some time in consequence of some of the crew being imprisoned
