December 1877 - The members of the Presbyterian Church, Lambton, celebrated their anniversary on Sunday, December 16, when three special services were held; in the morning by the Rev. C. J. Moody, in the afternoon by the Rev. J. S. Dobson, and at night by the Rev. T. Robey. Each service was well attended and the members of the Wallsend Church Choir rendered efficient service.
