Details: The Market Wharf Inn. We notice, by advertisement, that the above old established hottelry has changed hands. Mr. John Hopes, who has been proprietor for a number of years, has sold out in consequence of illness, and at once proceeds to Sydney. He has been succeeded by an old Newcastle favourite Boniface, who for many yours was known as the popular proprietor of the Shipwrights Arms, viz., Mr. John Petersen, in whose hands, we can safely assert, the Market Wharf Inn will maintain the reputation it has gained as a first-class house, where good liquor and courteous behaviour will always be dispensed.
