Sydney December 1846 - Enquiry having been made by their brother in England respecting John and Robert Gower who arrived in this colony in the ship Marquis of Hastings in 1826, under sentences of 7 years transportation and received their Certificates of Freedom the former on 3 April and the latter on 4th May 1832, any person who is enabled to afford information respecting the above individuals is requested to have the goodness to transmit the same to the Colonial Secretarys Office
