Details: Executed a short distance from the side of the gaol at Newcastle in the presence of a vast number of witnesses. Before he was executed he thanked the gaoler Mr. Field and exhorted all to take heed that his situation was brought about by drinking and debauchery. Died instantly. He was left hanging for an hour and then taken down and removed in the dead cart to the grave yard
