At some distance from the grave of Rev. Morse lies another scholar and clergyman . The epitaph on the tomb reads as follows: Sacred to the memory of Rose Josephine, the much loved wife of the Rev. Thomas Head Shaw, who meekly fell asleep trusting in her Great Redeemer, June 5th 1861, aged 24 years; also, to John Walker, son of the above, June 18, 1861, surviving her only 13 days aged 16 days. Is it well with the child? and she answered, it is well! Also, Thomas Head Shaw, B.A. Clerk in Holy Orders, born June 6th 1833 died July 17 1873 aged 42.
