Details: R. H. V. ALLNUTT, J.P., C.P.S., was born at Brighton, England, in 1849, and educated at Tunbridge Grammar School and at Winbourne Minster Grammar School. He is the son of the Rev. It. L. Allnutt, M.A., vicar of Monkton. He studied sheep farming in Sussex for eighteen months, and arrived in Victoria in 1866, for two years staying on his uncle s station near Hamilton. In 1868 he came to New South Wales and engaged in pastoral pursuits on the Clarence, in Riverina, and in New England, finally settling down on his own estate on the Liverpool Plains, about four miles from Quirindi. This is a freehold of about 2000 acres, and is carried on as a grazing estate. In 1878 Mr. Allnutt was created a justice of the peace for New South Wales, and in 1884 was appointed clerk of petty sessions ; he is also licensing magistrate and district registrar for Quirindi. Mr. Allnutt was married in 1874 to Amy Florence, eldest daughter of Phillip Swape, for some time P.M. of Bulladella
