All sorts of work connected with the trade are carried out, about seven men being fully employed. Both our subjects are natives of the Isle of Man, where they were brought up and learned their trade. Mr. R. Cannell came out to New South Wales about 1881, and worked at the establishment of John Booth and Co. and at Mort s Dock. Being satisfied with the business prospects of the colony, he sent for his brother, and the present partnership was entered into
