Details: While excavation was in progress on the site of Spencers Theatre today, a copper plate was unearthed, bearing the inscription Susannah Brazeley, died March 19 1816. The place was in pieces when discovered, but upon being put together the name and date could be distinctly made out. Thos site was evidently an old burial ground in the early days as on several occasions recently skeletons have been unearthed
