Details: In 1881 the Rev. Charles S. Y. Price accepted pastoral charge. He was the son of one of the veteran ministers of Tasmania. Early in his administration the church rules were revised, and collections were taken up from pew to pew Instead of at the church door. In September, 1884, after a pastorate of three years, his resignation was accepted with regret.
