Details: An old and well known man named Richard Beresford, above 70 years of age was found on the 2nd instant, dead in his bed, in a small gunyah on the road to St. Hilliers. His wife also an elderly woman, at an inquest held on the body subsequently stated that deceased had complained slightly of pain. Dr. Thornton gave his opinion that the deceaseds death arose from natural causes and a verdict to that effect was returned
