Details: JOSEPH BERCINI, Storekeeper, was born in Lombardy in 1838, and in 1861 came out to New South Wales and travelled through the Hunter and New Zealand districts for a number of years. In 1863 he settled in Branxton as a general dealer and storekeeper, his establishment being at the present moment the principal store of the district, supplying as it does the residents of Branxton and the neighbouring country thereof. In 1876 Mr. Bercini bought land and planted it as a vineyard, from which he now produces large quantities of first-class wines. He does a considerable trade in butter and eggs, etc., and is a married man with two sons and seven daughters
