Details: MICHAEL O HARA, of the Post Office Store, is a native of Ireland, and arrived in this colony in 1862. He became assistant in a store at Waratah, where he remained till 1872, and then commenced business in Tighes Hill. His success was such as compelled him to seek larger premises, so he purchased a valuable site and built thereon his present store. Mr. O Hara does the largest trade in the district, and is widely known and respected. Besides his business premises he has built for himself a very comfortable and commodious dwelling-house. In 1874 he was appointed postmaster for Tighes Hill, an office he still holds. He is married, and has two sons and four daughters
