Details: DEATH OF DR. MORSON. A much-respected and well-known resident of North Sydney, Dr Alexander Kinnear Morson, died on Saturday at his residence, Wyalla, Kirribilli Point. Dr Morson received his early medical training at Edinburgh, and in 1863 became a licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. He took his M.D. degree the following year. Upon arrival in this country he resided at Maitland, where he practised for several years. Upon retiring from the work of his profession he became a resident of North Sydney, and associated himself with various benevolent institutions. He was a member of the North Shore Hospital Committee, and was also one of the trustees of the institution. In consequence of ill-health he resigned the latter position a short time ago. The funeral took place on Sunday in the Presbyterian section of the Gore Hill Cemetery, the service being conducted by the Rev. W. H. Ash (North St. Leonards Church). Besides the relatives of the deceased, there were present - The elders, session, and choir of St. Peters Presbyterian Church (at which deceased was an attendant). Messrs. Dugald Thomson, M.P., D.
