Details: GEORGE A. BARRY, Merchant, is a native of Newcastle, New South Wales, where he was born in 1857. After receiving his education he resided in the northern city till 1872, when he removed to Muswellbrook and engaged in a drapery business. He remained in this for ten years, ultimately managing a department of the house. In 1883 he, in conjunction with Mr. Stafford, opened a merchant house in Narrabri, which was conducted until the present year, when the partnership was dissolved, and our subject opened a business in Moree, erecting new and large premises. These are plentifully stocked. Mr. Barry was married in 1884, and has one daughter
