He was at my house the greater part of yesterday and did not deliver the letter. The letter was from Mr. Thompson requesting me to send him up some things which he was to return today. The prisoner states that he remained to go out with Mr. Bingles overseer and stockman after some cattle and Mr. Thompson did not tell him to deliver the letter immediately on his arrival at Mr. Bingle s. The Bench find the prisoner guilty and sentence him to receive twenty five lashes
