Details: SUPREME COURT, NOV 14 - Under a Commission issues out of the Supreme Court, the following gentlemen assembled at the Court-room this day as a special Jury, to ascertain the validity of a debt alleged by the Crown to be due to the Commissariat from William Longford, late of Sydney, Miller, who absconded from the Colony about three weeks ago. The Commissioners summed up the evidence and the Jury retired for about a quarter of an hour, and then found that the sum of 165 pounds and five shillings was due at the present time from William Longford to the Crown.
