Details: The humble Memorial of John Clancy, Most respectfully showeth....That Memorialist was tried at Limerick in the month of August 1817 and arrived in this Colony per ship Tyne on the 3 August 1819 under sentence of transportation for seven years. That Memorialist being highly recommended to D. Wentworth Esq., Principal Surgeon was from the date of his arrival employed under William Redfern Esq., in the General Hospital. May it therefore please his Excellency to grant Memorialist the indulgence of a ticket of leave for which he will as in duty bound ever pray......Note - Memorialist having conducted himself with great diligence and propriety I beg leave most respectfully to commend him to Your Excellencys favourable consideration.
