820 tons. Arrived under Captain Bolton with about 400 male convicts. Nearly wrecked off the Heads of Port Jackson after the Captain gave the order for the ship to be put about in a strong southerly wind for the purpose of putting to sea. Missed stays and her main and fore-topsailes carried away. Signals were made from South Head of a vessel in distress and the harbour master and crew went to their aid. She remained in danger in heavy seas for the whole of the next day
