Arthur Wellesley Wellington Babington was born in Ireland c. 1818, the son of Thomas Babington. He married Mary Lloyd at Holy Trinity Cork on 13 November 1851.

The 1871 Census records him residing at Dartmouth with his wife Mary, daughters Mary age 17 and Albinia age 11 and son Percival age 5.Death
