John Hartnett per ship Bussorah Merchant assigned to Archibald little, charged with idleness. Francis Little states - Yesterday morning Hartnell who is assigned as a shoemaker, got a pair of shoes to mend; they required one of a half sole and each a patch; he brought them to me this morning and when I found fault with him for doing so little work he said he often was obliged to sit up at night to perform his work. His task is three pair of shoes per week. The Bench find the prisoner guilty of idleness and sentence him to twenty five lashes
