Details: : Elizabeth Gilligan, aged 23, convict, taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, compound fractured leg, on the morning of the 2 Sept. the ship rolling much, lost her hold and sliding down to leeward with much rapidity her right leg came in contact with the truck of a gun carriage by which it was severely fractured in its lower third the lower portion of the fractured tibia protruding about four inches above the internal malleolus; put on sick list 2 September 1831, sent 4 October 1831 to Colonial hospital at Sydney.
