D. 19 May 1900 Liverpool, NSW. C. of E. funeral. Worked on father s stns from early age. Became pastoralist; in 1859 held one run in New Eng. dist and was partner in three on Liverpool Plains. Noted studmaster, breeding sheep, cattle and fine racehorses. Associated with foundation of Randwick racecourse. MLA for Liverpool Plains 5 July 1859-5 March 1860.
