Among the military monuments we find one - In memory of Samuel Holt, late captain No. 5 battery, Voluneer Artillary Brigade, died Nov. 5th 1875, aged 56 years. This monument was erected by the officers, non commissioned officers and gunners of the above corps as a token of their respect and esteem. On this memorial is a battered metal wreath, bearing the phrase, - Requiescat in pace.
