Details: One of Maitland s oldest residents, Mrs. Anne White (79), died at her home, Kurrajong House, Church street, last night, after only a week s illness. Deceased was a native of the district, and a daughter of one of the old pioneers, Mr. Chidley John Crofton of Bloomfleld. Her husband, who died many years ago, was well known as an architect. A family of six sons and ono daughter survive her. The interment was made in the old Presbyterian cemetery, East Maitland, this afternoon.
