Details: The Foundation Stone of the new Primitive Methodist Church , Lambton took place on Tuesday , October 13,1868, in the presence of a large assemblage of spectators. The event was also celebra ¬ ted by a Public Tea, followed by a meeting. The proceedings in connection with the laying of the Stone, commenced about 5-30 PM by singing a hymn announced by the senior minister of the station, the Rev . F . C . Pritchard , followed by appropriate passages of script ure read by the Rev . Mr . Nolan the Wesleyan minister of the Newca ¬ stle District
