ALBERT PHILLIP REUBEN, Chemist and Druggist, was born in 1863 in Mudgee, N.S.W., and received his education in Sydney. He served his apprenticeship with A. J. Watt and Co. in Sydney and took his diploma there as chemist and dentist. He remained with Messrs. Watt and Co. for some time, and then went to Parramatta, where he was in the employ of a chemist for six months. At the end of this time he removed to Singleton. He remained for three years as medical assistant with Dr. Richard Reid, and afterwards served twelve months with Mr. Hamilton in Sydney. He settled in Gunnedah in December, 1886, and opened a place on his own account, in which he has since been very successful
