DOBIE AND HOLLINSHEAD, Builders and Contractors, King Street.-This firm was established in 1882, and consists of Dugald Dobie and George R. Hollinshead. They both served their apprenticeships in this city ; the latter being a native of Hunterstreet. Though but a short time in business, the firm occupy a leading position in the building trade, and have erected some of the principal structures in the city. They have now extensive works on band, and are large Government contractors. Mr. Dobie superintends the erection of the buildings, whilst Mr. Hollinshead looks after the finishing branches, as well as attending to the office. Mr. Hollinshead is a member of the G.U.O.O.F., and Mr. Dobie is a prominent Freemason. Mr. Hollinshead is married, and is the father of one son. He is a member of the Wesleyan Church
