Details: A carter in the employ of Mr. Apps, coal team proprietor, Morpeth Road was feeding his horses near Durus s Culvert. While filling his bucket he came across the body of Frank Collins. Deceased was a very infirm old man, and his intellect had been failing for some time; he was supposed to be 75 years of age as the woman who looked after him had the certificate of his birth dated 1796; he was a native of Armagh, Ireland. An inquest was held at the Junction Inn and he was found to have drowned
