Details: FRANK ASHER, Saddler, was born at Lake Macquarie in 1846, educated at Newcastle, and taught his trade at Morpeth. He first commenced business at Waratah, from which place he removed to Bushgrove, Clarence River, where he remained in business for ten years, and until he sold out in 1880 to start his present business in premises in Newcastle. Mr. Asher does a fair share of trade, and is an expert in collar-making. Ile has taken prizes at the various Clarence River shows for his workmanship. He is a Son of Temperance, a member of the I.O.G.T., and is married, having one son and four daughters. He is widely known and respected
